Fans will be informed of the new date for the show, which has been rescheduled to the fall, and those who have already purchased tickets will still be able to use them, according to Wizkid.

His decision comes in the midst of turmoil regarding the 2023 presidential election results, which were characterized by violence, voting repression, and extensive allegations of rigging. Wiz stated:

“Due to unforeseen logistical circumstances the Wizkid – More Love, Less Ego Tour has been postponed to Fall 2023.

All tickets purchased for the originally scheduled shows will be honored on the new dates at the respective venues. Stay tuned for more information. Love, Wiz.”

Wizkid, a titan of Afrobeats, has confirmed that he will tour with Davido, as INSIDE NIGERIA previously reported.

The Grammy winner announced it on social media, saying he would carry out his vow after the More Love, Less Ego album tour.

Wizkid urged supporters to set aside money to purchase tickets because he does not want to hear excuses for why they were unable to attend.

Using a self-portrait, he posted it and stated;

“After MLLE tour! Davido and I going on tour! Save your coins!! I no wan hear pim!!”

Fans were ecstatic to hear the news and could not contain their excitement to watch the heavyweights perform together after years, even if he did not provide a date.
