The Nigerian Federal Government has budgeted over 4.5 billion dollars to monitor Whatsapp, prompting hilarious replies mixed with grievances among Nigerian citizens.

This shocking revelation came after one of Nigeria’s biggest media organizations, Arise TV, publicized the federal government’s heinous plans via the famous social media site Whatsapp.

Nigerians are outraged by the disclosure and have taken to social media to demand that the federal government allocate funds to the country’s traumas rather than Whatsapp.

Buhari’s administration believes it is critical to manage WhatsApp in order to monitor residents’ phone conversations and actions, and has allocated 4.8 billion through its grinds.

In actuality, Nigeria is grappling with enormous insecurity, recession, and poverty, ranking it among the top five most corrupt countries in the world.
