South African Amapiano musicians, Mellow & Sleazy have collaborated with Tumelo ZA and Kabelo Sings to record “Sozumthole,” their latest track.
This piece highlights the distinct sound of Amapiano music, which has grown in popularity in recent years. The title, “Sozumthole,” is a slang word that approximately translates to “I will get him/her”. The lyrics discuss the experience of chasing after someone, a topic that is bound to strike a chord with listeners.
Because of the plethora of talents rising from the streets, we’ve witnessed a lot of breakthroughs for most of the new musicians that join the market using freestyle videos to demonstrate what they’ve got in store for us.
