When NMA reported his kidnapping, he criticized the state’s security record and pleaded with the federal and state governments to address the troubling conditions in the nation.

According to the Daily Post, the hospital verified that other passengers were also abducted during the operation.

The state leadership of the Nigerian Police Force, though, has not made an official remark about the incident.

The government of Zamfara State announced guidelines for civilian access to firearms on Tuesday.

The administration also clarified its prior recommendation that people be given access to firearms so they can protect themselves against bandit terrorists.

According to Naija News, Zamfara State has recently seen a startlingly high number of bandit attacks.

Last Saturday, the state government stated that people would now be able to purchase firearms to defend themselves in an effort to stop the ongoing attacks.

The government of Governor Bello Matawalle announced that it would send 500 applications for gun licenses to each of the state’s 19 emirates, resulting in a total of 9,500 potential firearms and that it would instruct the state’s commissioner of police to grant the permits to those who request them.

Since the announcement, there has been a wide range of responses as people have shared their varied opinions on how firearms should be handled.

State Commissioner of Information Ibrahim Dosara clarified the government’s announcement by saying that it does not automatically grant all interested parties the permission to possess firearms during a Monday appearance on a Channels TV program.

He emphasized that the procedure the government is using to ensure that the citizenry is provided with legal firearms to defend themselves is legal.
