The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been informed by Bola Tinubu’s fictitious running mate, Kabir Ibrahim Masari, that his school transcripts are also missing because of many controversies surrounding the alleged loss of Bola Tinubu’s credentials.

The APC vice-presidential candidate lost important documents, including the C of O for one plot in Katsina state, KT 17522, his Grade II certificate from Katsina Teachers College, and his primary school diploma, according to a sworn affidavit for the loss of some original documents submitted to the electoral commission by Mr. Masari and seen by Peoples Gazette.

Part of the affidavit sworn by the plaintiff read, “That sometime in January 2021, while on transit within Wuse Area, FCT-Abuja, I discovered that my original Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) of Plot, No KT 17522, GRA Katsina, Katsina State; Certificate of Kaduna State Development Centre from 1994 to 1995; Grade II Certificate from Katsina Teachers’ College (KTC) from 1978 to 1983; and

The affidavit said, “That all efforts made to trace the documents proved futile hence this affidavit.”

The electoral legislation requires candidates to submit their personal information, which will be made public and available for review before elections.

While Mr. Tinubu acknowledged on Saturday that he was still looking for a qualified vice presidential candidate, he implied that Mr. Masari was simply a phony running partner.
