Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is lobbying for a summer move.
In an interview with Onet Sport, he claimed that the Bundesliga club did not listen to him until the end and that as a result, “something died inside me.”
Lewandowski has been linked with a move to Barcelona, as well as Chelsea and Manchester United.
“All I want to do now is leave Bayern,” the 33-year-old said. Work takes a back seat to loyalty and respect. Working together to discover a solution is the best thing to do. They were deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deaf Something inside of me died, and I’ll never be able to recover. Even if you want to appear professional, you can’t make up for it.
“For so many years with the club, I was always ready, available, and despite ailments and agony, I gave it my all.” I feel the best course of action is to find a good solution for both sides. Don’t expect a one-sided decision, either.
“I’m not looking for a one-sided answer; it makes no sense, especially after such a lengthy period of achievement and with my will and support.”
“What kind of player would go to Bayern knowing that something like this could happen to them?” So, where is respect and loyalty? I’ve always been prepared; I’ve spent eight wonderful years here, met wonderful people, and I’d like to remember it that way.”
