Samuel Chukwueze, a professional footballer from Nigeria who currently plays for the Spanish team Villareal, has been nominated for the March La Liga Player of the Month award.
Upon joining Villareal in 2018, Chukwueze has excelled in his performance for the Yellow Submarine team.
Three of the six goals the team scored in March were assisted by the 23-year-old. Chukwueze was one of six players selected for player of the month for his persistent strong play, particularly during the current season.

Antione Griezmann, David Silva, Raphinha, Iago Aspas, and Borja Iglesias are the other nominees.
According to Naija News, Villarreal earned seven points from its three La Liga matches this month.
