Kizz Daniel paid tribute to the Afrobeat legend by performing one of his hit songs, ‘African Woman,’ on stage while the audience applauded.

The father of two captioned the video:

Kizz Daniel, whose dream of singing at the World Cup was realized on Wednesday, delighted the audience with his hit songs ‘Buga’ and ‘Cough,’ leaving the fans wanting more.

Kizz Daniel also shared clips of his performance at the event on his Instagram page, where he thanked his fans from all over the world. He stated:

Kizz Daniel, born Daniel Anidugbe, voiced his wish to sing his hit song ‘Buga’ at the World Cup before being named one of the event’s headliners.

Kizz Daniel stated this in a tweet on June 23 following the debut of the music video, which was an instant success. He stated:
