Kiddo CSA‘s debut single remix offering, HAIBO, including S1mba and Reason, is out now on Warner Music Africa.
Kiddo enlists international Brit award-winning star S1mba and multi-talented, award-winning label mate Reason aka Sizwe Alakine for the ‘Haibo’ Remix.
The beat is a delightfully soulful twist on the original, reinvented by original producers London Rhodes, who was present during the recording session at the Sportscene Studios in Sandton City.
HAIBO, a colloquial phrase for surprise, is the best depiction of my life right now, according to Kiddo CSA.
“It’s me seeing my childhood dreams come true on a daily basis.
“The bars from S1mba and Reason inspired me to amp up my game and record a new verse to match their fire,” Kiddo CSA says.
“Working with Kiddo and Reason felt natural, and being in South Africa was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.” “We bonded and got together to create a new viewpoint on this remix,” S1mba said.
“I really liked the original version of Haibo,” Reason says, “so it made sense to me when Kiddo contacted me to join the remix.”
“I think the new spin on an existing popular song will go over well.”
