Mrs. Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon, the mother of Reekado Banks, a Nigerian artist, has died.
Reekado asked his followers and family to remember his family in their prayers in a statement on his Instagram page.
Mrs. Olubunmi celebrated her 75th birthday in August, and her children surprised her with a brand-new car.
The circumstances of her death are still unknown. Her surviving family members include her husband, sisters, children, and grandchildren.
His Instagram caption is as follows:
“IT IS WITH A HEAVY HEART THAT WE ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF OUR WIFE, MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, SISTER, CONFIDANT, AND FRIEND. DORCAS OLUBUNMI SOLOMON IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND, SISTERS, CHILDREN, AND GRANDCHILDREN.
WE IMPLORE THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO KEEP US IN PRAYERS AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME.”
