Nigerian transgender James Brown who goes by the moniker “Princess of Africa,” has described how his coworker Bobrisky allegedly threatened to kill him.
James stated in a recent interview that Bobrisky’s connection with him deteriorated when he started dancing on Instagram.
He said he received a message from Bobrisky who threatened to end his life if he doesn’t quit being a crossdresser.
He said:
“He is respected. He is older than me. He is about thirty something years old and he had been in the industry for about 7 years. So. I just came 3 years ago.
When I came he supported me, gave me money and helped in anyway he could. He gave me support money and we hung out a lot but as time went on I became a dancer on Instagram.
He turned on me at that point and began to threaten me. Thus, he had no interest in me. I’m not sure, I just don’t understand it. Sometimes, even though you believe you know someone well, you actually don’t. Just that, really. He threatens to kill me if I continue to pose as James Brown, the drag queen, and the princess of Africa. That is how we came to be adversaries. The news is awash in coverage about it.
Yes, he is wealthy. But not nearly as much as I believe he has—I can’t tell because I have no access to his bank account and no idea what he does. Despite the fact that we both work in the same field, I am unaware of his other responsibilities. I
