J. Cole’s “Snow on Tha Bluff” fights police brutality, racism, and wealth inequality in his surprise release. Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen a lot of entertainers protesting and expressing their opinion about George Floyd ‘s death. Some have even opted to use their platforms properly to make dirty cops aware of the murder of innocent black people.
In a self-produced track (with the help of Kelvin Wooten), Dreamville Jermaine addresses all of the above. It’s also in response to the criticism that Noname has received over the last few years. She went to shed light on situations beyond Chicago.
Although others are waiting for news of his long-awaited album, The Fall Off, this is just something Cole has been trying to get off his chest for now. Look for details on the album to be released later this year.
