Dele Momodu, CEO of Ovation International Magazine, posted a photo of the late Veronica Adeleke, mother of famed Nigerian artist David Adeleke, also known as Davido, on his Twitter page.
The Veteran Journalist maintained on social media that he had just discovered the largest throwback image of Davido’s vivacious mother, which was taken about 22 years ago, at the Lagos Sheraton & Towers, Ikeja.
He praised the late singer’s mother as a model of beauty and prayed for her kind soul to rest in peace.

However, according to accounts, the late Veronica, a renowned instructor at Babcock University, died on March 6th, 2003, at the age of 39, coinciding with her husband, Adedeji Adeleke’s, 40th birthday.
