The Nigerian actor Prince Eke recently announced that he is now a citizen of the United States.

The actor posted this assertion and his thankfulness for the development on his Instagram page on Sunday, October 23.

He can be seen grinning as he exits the US Immigration and Customs office with his citizenship certificate in a video that Eke uploaded.

The Nollywood star hailed God and insisted that he had nothing to do with his citizenship in America.

Prince Eke also took the opportunity to pay respect to those who drowned at sea while attempting to escape the suffering in Nigeria.

He said he already had his permanent voters card, enabling him to cast his ballot during the general elections in 2023 from a foreign country (PVC).

Eke wrote; ”Today I truly become an American.

I give God all the glory because it’s neither by my power nor by my might . It’s all His Grace !

So many started this journey before me but their cases are still undecided. Some got drowned in the Mediterranean Sea while others died in the deserts all in an effort to run away from a wicked government. A government that has weaponized poverty. Insecurity and hunger is the order of the day.

Thank God for His Grace upon me.

I HAVE MY PVC . !!!”
