Yul Edochie, an actor and presidential candidate, has now spoken out about his second marriage to Judy Austin, a coworker.
On May 11, the actor declared his plans to speak out about his marital problems.
Things haven’t been going well between the actor and his first wife, May Yul Edochie, since he married a second wife without her consent.
The father of five revealed his plans for a tell-all on his Instagram account.
Silence, he believes, is beneficial, but it is not always the greatest response.
“SILENCE IS HEALTHY. HOWEVER, IT IS NOT ALWAYS THE BEST ANSWER. IT HAS REACHED THE POINT WHERE I WILL SPEAK.”
Yul Edochie had kept his word and addressed his family issue on his Instagram page.
The actor advised Nigerians to concentrate on their family issues, claiming that he has the legal right to marry as many wives as he wants.
People should put their passion towards meaningful things going on in the country, he claims, because it is his life and his business.
According to Yul Edochie,
“A LOT OF PEOPLE TOLD ME I SHOULD BE SILENT, BUT I DIDN’T.” PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DISCUSSING THE ISSUE, THE WHOLE POLYGAMY, ME MARRYING A SECOND WIFE, AND WE BROKE THE INTERNET FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS. I HAVE THE RIGHT TO WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND MARRY 25 WOMEN BECAUSE THIS IS MY LIFE. YOU CAN MAKE IT UP TO 50 IF YOU WANT, IT’S NOT YOUR BUSINESS, IT’S MY LIFE. THE ENERGY YOU ALL ARE DIRECTING AT MY PERSONAL PROBLEMS IS WHY POLITICIANS DO NOT TAKE NIGERIANS SERIOUSLY. OUR COUNTRY HAS MANY PROBLEMS, BUT WE DO NOT DIRECT OUR ENERGY TO THEM. YOU BASH ME EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ACCEPTED MY MISTAKE. MEN WITH CHILDREN FROM DIFFERENT WOMEN DO EXIST.”
