Toyin Lawani, a well-known celebrity stylist and fashion designer, has revealed further reasons why she married her photographer, Segun Wealth.
Despite being a greedy person, the famous stylist stated on her Instagram page that she chooses love over other things in the world.
Toyin Lawani shared an Instagram video underlining the importance of loving someone who will care for one’s soul and body, captioning it, “Yes, I’m a material girl, and I’m willing to work for it,
But I don’t prioritize it when choosing a life partner; instead, consider who wants to see you succeed, not those who want you to conform to their desires; you can’t see this much skill and want it to merely sit in a house and serve you. My dreams matter, your dreams matter, and having children or a husband should not deter them. You may pick all of this while remaining true to yourself. Anyone who truly loves you will not seek to change you. Even if it is inconvenient for them, they will push you until you reach your goals. Your success will be determined by the partner you choose. ToyinLawani had earlier mentioned an actress who had reduced her age by ten years.
Lawani made this statement in reaction to online users who lie about their age.
The mother of three pondered, via her verified Instagram page, why people, particularly female celebrities, would reduce their age each time they publicly celebrated their birthday.
“Please, I have a specific question?” she wrote. Why do people believe they must lie about their age? When youngsters are younger, like 13, they want to claim they are 18 when they become older, they want to say they are younger, this nonsense is now extremely common, is it for acceptance or what, I don’t know, I know one Aunty who is 46 but still celebrates 36. I asked her why, and she responded it was because that was the age Nollywood assigned her, and she accepted it.
You all need to relax because you’re always ready to call people old and make them feel otherwise, because being old is something graceful, and nobody, not even Abi, will pray not to become old.
If you like it, say thy kingdom come. The time God set aside for you will not change. Acceptance comes naturally to certain people.
It’s incredibly irritating with the lies, and it’s also fairly irritating with how you age and disgrace individuals in society.”
