The nation mourns the loss of a political giant and a true Nigerian, said President Muhammadu Buhari in a statement following the passing of prominent politician and businessman Alhaji Musa Musawa, a former senator.
“A towering grassroots politician with a profound understanding of affairs who had very few analogues as a campaigner in his heydays,” was how Buhari praised the deceased.
Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, revealed this in a statement.
“He lived a good life, leaving us with countless fond memories of his successes as a businessman, politician, and civic leader. He will be much missed, the President stated.
May Allah provide his family, the government, and the people of Katsina State the strength to bear the loss and grant him eternal rest in paradise.
