Political thugs attacked Mr. Nnanna Nwangwu, a domestic observer with the Nigeria Civil Society Situation Room, in Obiagu, Enugu North Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Nnanna was seen sobbing following the attack in a video that the DAILY POST was able to secure.
To save the domestic observer, the military had to act quickly.
He claims that a political thug struck him while he was watching the current gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections at the polling station inside the Obiagu Road Primary School.
“I was accosted by a thug for watching the procedure. He told me to leave and turned off my phone. I’m grateful that the Nigerian Army stepped in,” Nnanna stated.
