In a popularity contest, gospel musician Chioma Jesus upset American music diva Beyonce.
After a Twitter user, @Imoteda, commented that it is weird for people to presume football players are “crazily popular,” a popularity survey for the two superstars was made.
Furthermore, the Twitter user indicated that Beyonce is more famous than football players. She tweeted about it;
“SO MANY PEOPLE THINK FOOTBALL PLAYERS ARE CRAZY POPULAR. IT’S SO WEIRD. LIKE HOW CAN YOU SAY A FOOTBALL PLAYER IS MORE POPULAR THAN BEYONCE? THEN NAME TWO FOOTBALL PLAYERS THAN EVEN I WOULDN’T RECOGNIZE. LOL”
The tweet piqued the interest of many football fans. Many people denied the claim, but another Twitter user established a poll between Chioma Jesus and Beyonce, asking “who is more popular?”
Chioma Jesus defeated Beyonce in the survey with 85.7% of the 77,864 votes polled.
