Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has stated that two clubs assisted Antonio Conte in qualifying Tottenham Hotspur for the Champions League next season.

Neville stated on his podcast that “the capitulation of Manchester United and the demise of Arsenal” aided Spurs.

Arsenal finished fifth, two points behind their North London rivals, after losing at Derby County and Newcastle United.

United, on the other side, finished sixth, 15 points behind fourth place.

“He (Conte) has done a wonderful job at Tottenham, aided by Manchester United’s capitulation and Arsenal’s demise, but he’s done a good job and was always going to.” I’m clear that he’s not the appropriate manager for Manchester United, but you can say someone isn’t the right manager for your team and still be a great manager.

“The others have Tuchel, Conte, Klopp, and Guardiola — they’re animals that constantly win trophies.” They stand on the sidelines and, with their presence and aura, can nearly devour you alive. “The remainder has a long way to go,” stated Neville.
