A dynamic priest from Enugu named Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has been fired from the Adoration Ministry.
The Adoration Ministry returned on Sunday after a three-month hiatus.
A message was sent to the monastery with Mbaka. The action takes effect immediately.
Instead of Fr. Mbaka, a priest from the Catholic Diocese of Enugu named Fr. Anthony Amadi would be in charge of the Adoration Ministry.
However, the church’s most recent choice has already drawn criticism from Mbaka’s followers.
The event is regretful, according to a top ministry representative who confirmed the posting to DAILY POST.
He asserts that “the Bishop has always been trying to take over the Adoration Ministry. But I can assure you that no priest will succeed there. So long as Fr. Mbaka is not present, no one will come to worship.
“This will lead to anarchy. It is inconceivable that such a heinous decision could be taken. We, the worshippers, will never accept another priest.
“Fr. Mbaka toiled and exerted himself completely to create that region. Now, they have cleverly entered the building through the backyard. Keep an eye out to see if they succeed.
Mbaka’s issues started three months ago after he preached against Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president.
