Cynthia Morgan abandons her lifelong dream of being a Grammy winner in order to become a prophetess.
Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, has given up her lifelong dream of being a Grammy winner in order to become a prophetess.
The Nigerian dancehall artist revealed in a recent Instagram post that she was born a prophetess, but her family denies this.
Being born into a Jehovah’s Witness family, she claims, was a different story because there were no beliefs regarding the existence of prophets.
Cynthia claimed that he fought with her gift until she was 25, at which point she realized she was stuck.
“I WAS BORN TO BE A PROPHET.” BUT HE WAS BORN IN A JEHOVAH WITNESS FAMILY. AND THEY BELIEVE JESUS WAS THE LAST PROPHET, SO THEY DO NOT BELIEVE THERE WILL BE PROPHETS UNTIL JESUS CHRIST’S SECOND COMING. AT THE TIME, THIS WAS ALSO MY BELIEF. SO I KEEP MY PRESENT TO MYSELF. ONLY MY IMMEDIATE FAMILY WAS INFORMED.
I ENTERED MUSIC AT THE AGE OF 16 BELIEVING MY GIFT OF PROPHECY WAS A FLUKE THAT WOULD PASS. AT 251, I REALIZED I WASN’T GETTING ANYWHERE. I BEGGED GOD TO LET ME WIN A GRAMMY BEFORE ACCEPTING MY CALLING PROPERLY.
SO FAR, I’VE REALIZED THAT I’M WASTING MY TIME. “ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT REASONS I WITHDRAW FROM THE PUBLIC EYE.”
