Some Nigerian celebrities have resorted to social media to express their condolences to British-Nigerian heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua following his defeat at the weekend, while others blame President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to Naija News, Joshua lost a split decision to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk on Sunday morning at the King Abdullah Sports Arena in Jeddah, with Usyk retaining his IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBO championships.

In response, Nigerian female footballers Asisat Oshoala, Erica, and DJ Cuppy offered their condolences to Joshua and expressed their continuous support for him.

However, other Nigerians reacted on social media, claiming that the two-time heavyweight champion has been losing ground since meeting with Buhari.
