Bruno Fernandes, a midfielder for Manchester United, claims that the reason his team fell to Liverpool 7-0 in the Sunday Premier League match at Anfield was because the Red Devils gave Jurgen Klopp’s squad too much room in the second half.

Fernandes emphasized how’really fantastic’ Manchester United was against Liverpool in the first half.

Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino all scored twice as Liverpool defeated Erik ten Hag’s team.

After the game, Fernandes stated in a statement to Sky Sports: “It’s incredibly frustrating, disappointed, and sad because it’s a really awful result. Before the game, we arrived here with a different attitude.

“The first half was excellent; we had numerous opportunities. They did not really produce that much in the first half, which I believe we dominated.

We attempted to advance and score goals [in the second half], but we slightly lost our composure. Compared to this type of team, we gave away far too much room. It must be avoided.
