Psquare’s Peter Okoye has reacted to the growing number of aspirants declaring their intention to run for president in 2023.

On Thursday, Peter urged lawmakers to unwind, saying that the presidential election had become a “beer parlour declaration.”

“The way these folks dey announce to run for the presidency in 2023 eh!” the musician posted on Instagram. E don’t declare a beer parlor drink.

The rising number of presidential candidates in recent days has prompted worries, particularly in light of the Nigerian professors’ protest.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Bola Tinubu, Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation, Dave Umahi, and others from the All Progressives Congress, APC, are among the presidential hopefuls.

Adams Oshiomhole, Kayode Fayemi, Godswill Akpabio, Ibikunke Amosun, and Chris Ngige, Minister of Labour and Employment, are among the others.

Atiku Abubakar, Nyesom Wike, Bukola Saraki, Anyim Pius Anyim, and Peter Obi, among others, have expressed interest in the opposition party, PDP.
