Ogbachalu Goshen, a lawyer, has shocked people by showing up in a priest robe before the Okpoko Magistrate Court in the Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Due to his improper dress, the magistrate, CB Mbaegbu, refused to hear him, which caused a brief scene in court.
Goshen replied that he did not agree with the magistrate, citing a recent Supreme Court ruling that upheld female students wearing the hijab in public schools as an example.
The attorney also reminded the court that he had a right to do so and that the court’s opposition violated that right.

However, the magistrate dissented, forcing the court to adjourn.
