Nigeria’s top singer David Adeleke aka Davido nominated rapper Odumodublvck to win in the Next Rated category of the 2023 Headies Awards ahead of avid singers, Asake and Seyi Vibez.
Odumodublvck recently rose to fame after his sensational hit “Declan Rice” went viral.
Meanwhile, Asake and Seyi Vibez have dominated the Nigerian music industry since their first projects last year.
Although organizers have yet to announce the nominees for the 2023 Headies Awards, Davido has confirmed croon artist “Declan Rice” will take home the often coveted Best Newcomer category.
OBO Crooner agreed in a video chat with Odumodublvck, which the rapper recently shared on his social media page. Davido said;
“I am proud of you. That [Headies] Next Rated na you go collect am.
“By the time OBO don enter…By the time 001 don enter the matter [laughs].”
