Renowned Afrobeat musician David Adeleke, often known as Davido, has revealed that Nigerian artist and Mavin Records music producer Don Jazzy came up with the idea for the name of his fourth studio album.

According to Naija News, the singer said this when responding to inquiries regarding the most recent project.

He claims that Don Jazzy sent him an Instagram message last year suggesting the name “Timeless.”

Davido admitted that he nearly went with a another album title before settling on Don Jazzy’s suggestion of “Timeless.”

He said: “Funny enough, Jazzy actually Dmed me a year ago and suggested that I named my album ‘Timeless’”

Since his son Ifeanyi Adeleke passed away, Davido has spoken out about his historic performance at the FIFA World Cup final in 2022.

According to Naija News, the “OBO crooner” admitted that he wasn’t prepared for the enormous chance in an interview with Beat FM on Friday.

He claimed that after the passing of his son, he was unsure whether or not to participate in the event.

The opportunity was unusual for a vocalist, and many might never receive it in a lifetime, so he chose to take it.
