Davido awards a scholarship to a boy with an A1 parallel score who is unable to continue his education due to financial constraints


A brilliant young man who had been unable to continue his education due to financial difficulties was given a full university scholarship by Nigerian superstar singer David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, after passing the WASSCE (West African Examination Council) exam with flying colors.
Morro Suleyman, a Ghanaian youngster, has been offered a full scholarship to Adeleke University, according to a tweet from Davido on Wednesday night.

The young student, who had previously been profiled by Naija News, earned an A1 on his West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examinations but has been living at home since 2021 owing to financial difficulties.

His heartfelt apology was posted on the microblogging platform Twitter by Nana Yaw, who urged kindhearted individuals to assist the kid.

He clarified Suleyman

After the story went viral, Davido in the early hours of Wednesday asked netizens to help him locate the boy.

Davido wrote: “Who can please find this boy for me??”

Again, he tweeted: “Has anyone found him????”

Later, Davido confirmed the boy has been located and offered a scholarship plus accommodation and allowance.

”We have contacted Suleyman who lives in Ghana and he has been given a full 4/5 year scholarship to Adeleke university .. accommodation and allowance included! God bless y’all .. #wrblo,” he tweeted.
