Todd Boehly, Chelsea’s potential new owner, will be required to make four adjustments.
Chelsea announced a few days ago that they had reached a deal with Boehly to purchase the club from Roman Abramovich.
As Abramovich steps out, Boehly and his partners will be officially announced as Chelsea’s new owners in the following weeks.
The Premier League is expected to approve his deal with Chelsea this week, after which it will go to the UK Government for approval.
However, with key players exiting Chelsea this summer and contracts to be finalized, Football London writes that Boehly must rebuild the team’s squad, sell some players, secure Thomas Tuchel’s future, and negotiate new deals for Chelsea’s present and future in the coming weeks and months.
