Nigerian rapper Benkretz has challenged Burna Boy and Timaya to learn about talent development from their teammate, Olamide.

He said that Olamide has given many opportunities to artists in the South West, particularly in Lagos, and that they have evolved into stars in their own right.

Benkretz encouraged Port Harcourt-born artists to replicate the gesture and provide comparable help to south-south musicians.

There are many smart people in the neighborhood, but no one to ‘help us,’ according to the budding musician.

He took to social media to beg Timaya and Burna Boy to consider his request, claiming to be doing it in God’s name.

BANKRETZ WROTE; ‘‘OLAMIDE HAS HELPED A LOT OF LOCAL CONTENTS(ARTISTS )FROM THE WEST(LASGIDI) RISE & STAND.

@BURNABOYGRAM @TIMAYATIMAYA PLEASE DO THE SAME IN THE SOUTH (PORT HARCOURT), WE USE GOD BEG UNA. PLENTY TALENTS DEY SOUTH BUT HELPERS FAR FROM US.”
