President Muhammadu Buhari presented transitional documents to President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Naija News reported that the ceremony was held at the State Convention Center in Abuja on Thursday as part of the presidential inauguration event program.
Buhari also presented the service staff along with documents during the national honorary ceremony of the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic in Tinubu and the Grand Commander of the Order of Niger to Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima at the Banquet Hall of the Federal Republic of China. This is consistent with Executive Order 14 requiring the transitional council to issue handover notes containing, among other things, a proposed policy direction for the incoming administration.
