Together, Budah Maz and ProSoul have created the song Thuma Mina. The song, an amalgam of Afro-pop and hip-hop, has irresistible beats and melodies that will get listeners moving to the beat.
Thuma Mina’s lyrics serve as a call to action, enjoining listeners to band together and change the world. The chorus, “Send me,” is an allusion to Nelson Mandela’s well-known address in which he urged South Africans to band together for a better future.
We’ve seen several breakthroughs for new musicians that enter the industry using freestyle videos to preview what they have in store for us because of the abundance of skills emerging from the streets.
