Famous Yoruba film actor Murphy Afolabi has passed away. He passed away on Sunday morning. This comes less than 24 hours after news of the death of the famous Nollywood actor Saint Obi.
Details of the circumstances surrounding Afolabi’s death are yet to be known, however, a colleague of the deceased in the Yoruba subdivision of Nollywood, Tunde Ola-Yusuf, confirmed the sad news.
Ola-Yusuf, a famous actor, director and producer, took to her Facebook page on Sunday afternoon to pay tribute to Afolabi.
He wrote: “REST IN PEACE…
“May God give the family and close associates the fortitude to bear the loss.
“Good night Muphy Afolabi.”
