The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Sir Siminialaye Fubara has been endorsed by the Labour Party’s Rivers State Chapter.
This will happen in the days leading up to the March 11 elections for governor and state assembly.
Dienye Pepple, the chairman of the Labour Party in Rivers State, revealed this in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
A communique that resulted from the party’s executive meeting contained the announcement.
With the development, the party appears to have given up on Mrs. Beatrice Itubo, its standard bearer.
