Opeyemi Aiyeola, a Nollywood actress, has taken on her colleagues and other celebrities to drum up support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, ahead of the 2023 election.

This comes only days after some of her colleagues, including Foluke Daramola, Murphy Afolabi, Woli Arole, and others, invaded Tinubu’s Ikeja campaign.

Opeyemi Aiyeola asked Nollywood actors to open their hearts to the country’s pains in a statement uploaded on her Instagram page, stressing that it is no longer about acquiring a fortune.

The actress stated that superstars must do the right thing because prudence is no longer required.

Betraying Nigeria as a celebrity, according to Opeyemi Aiyeola, is callous, selfish, cruel, and nasty since they would still bear the consequences.

“Dear colleagues,” she wrote. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please It is no longer about accumulating wealth. Nigeria is bleeding, and Nigerians are bleeding as well. Nigeria owes it to us to do the right thing. We can no longer afford to be careless.”

“It is incredibly insensitive, selfish, harsh, and evil to betray Nigeria as a celebrity now.” Remember, if we allow the country to fall apart, WE WILL ALL SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES, and all of the money we are zealously pursuing will vanish before our eyes. What good will it do a Nigerian star to sell his or her soul and integrity for money if Nigeria falls?”
