Thaddeus Attah, a candidate for the Labour Party, defeated music icon and PDP candidate Banky W to win the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.

Attah of the Labour Party received 24,075 votes, knocking out Babajide Obanikoro of the APC with 16,901 votes and Olubankole Wellington (Banky W) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received 18,666 votes.

The current representative for the district is Babajide, who is Musiliu Obanikoro’s son and a former minister of defense.
