Ayra Starr is a forthcoming Nigerian Afro-pop singer, composer, and model. She was born Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe in Benin City, a southern state of Nigeria, on June 14th, 2002. Ayra is a native of Nigeria’s Edo state. The aspiring diva was raised in Lagos and was greatly motivated to pursue her dream of becoming a well-known vocalist by her parents. She was a young student at Les Cours Sonou University where she majored in political science and international relations.
Ayra grew up polishing her vocal skills as an ardent church choir member. Her music is a fusion of R&B, soul, and Afro-pop.
Arya joined the Quove Modeling Agency in Lagos in August 2018 and began working with prestigious companies there, including Krisari Entertainment, Mazelle Studio, Concept Magazine, and Esperanza Woman’s Wear Brand.
