On Monday, unknown gunmen assaulted the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) station in Awada, Onitsha.
In the early hours of Monday, the intruders invaded ABS and set fire to a building, a business bus, and another vehicle belonging to a staff member who had worked overnight.
There were no reported casualties in the incident, but reports suggested that the gunmen brutalized the employees they encountered on the grounds, inflicting injuries on them.
The incident has elicited no response from the government or the State Police Command.
A member of the staff who spoke to the Daily Post on the condition of anonymity said they were being probed by security agents about the attack at the time of reporting this article.
He vowed to reveal every detail of the gunmen’s attack on them.
It’s worth noting that the Anambra Broadcasting Service, which is owned by the state government, has been assisting the state government in its war against rogue gunmen.
