An 87-year-old man buys a new coffin for his “future” burial because the two he previously purchased are now out of date
Aloise Otieng’ Ng’ombe, 87, just purchased a new coffin for his upcoming funeral service.
According to reports, the guy from Busia, Kenya, spent Ksh58,000 on a casket for his funeral.
According to K2TV, Aloise purchased coffins in 2009 and 2012. The new coffin, which is now being stored at the father of 18 children’s shop in the Obekai district, will be used as the deceased’s final resting place because the previous coffins were outmoded.
He also revealed that sending a message to society by purchasing a coffin before his death. Aloise declared;
“I want my community as a whole to learn from this. If you are alive, you might not have the necessities. People will kill bulls and buy you lovely clothes and shoes after you pass away, but you won’t be around for very long. I made the decision to organize a send-off worthy of my social level because of this.
