After Tems praised other female stars for inspiring her, Davido responds, saying, “Anybody can inspire you”

David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, a Nigerian musician, has responded to songstress Tems winning two prizes at the BET 2022.

Tems expressed her gratitude for those that crawled before her on social media after winning the BET award.

The “Crazy Things” singer gave a particular shout-out to female coworkers who were in the industry before her, including Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Asa, and Omawumi.

Davido responded to Tems’ appreciation message by congratulating her on her illustrious accomplishment on his Instagram story.

However, he pointed out that the music diva can draw inspiration from anyone (including her male and female counterparts) who paved the way for her in the Nigerian music industry.

He stated:

“EVERYONE CAN IGNITE YOU! GOOD JOB, GIRL”

Tems took home two awards in the just held 2022 BET Awards, not just one.
