On Wednesday night, Fireboy DML, a famous musician from Nigeria, sobbed over his most recent international success.

After sharing the stage with Grammy Award winner Ed Sheeran to perform their popular song “Peru,” the singer started to cry.

Ed Sheeran will perform at the Wembley Stadium in London, which can hold around 90,000 people, for five nights starting on June 24 and running through July 1.

In a viral video, the singer lost control of her emotions and started crying.

In July 2021, Fireboy released “Peru,” which became a worldwide smash and attracted Ed Sheeran’s attention. Sheeran then remixed the song.

As he revealed his collaboration with Fireboy, Ed Sheeran stated that he found the song “Peru” to be addicting. This was sometime in December 2021.

Nigerian performers are receiving widespread acclaim, which is putting Afrobeats in the spotlight.

Tems and Wizkid each won two prizes at the BET Awards a few days ago.

Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, Fireboy, Ckay, and Tems, for example, have all worked with international icons and performed in front of large crowds abroad in 2022 alone.
