The Nollywood actress, Sharon Ooja, has spoken candidly about her struggles to maintain her sanity while working on the Glamour Girls movie.

The actor, who portrayed one of the movie’s key roles, shared on Tuesday via her Instagram account about her challenges in light of the negative press the movie had received.

She stated, “I portrayed Emmanuella in the movie Glamour Girls and I am here to inform you that Glamour Girls is still airing on Netflix and trending globally due to our labor of love.”

The actor described how she got sick while filming and tried to maintain her sanity.

“I am aware of the considerable effort each and every one of us has put into this. I am aware of the effort I have put into this. filming for months on end, being sick in between, and fighting for mental stability.

“I sincerely appreciate all the love, and as a team, we appreciate both the praise and the criticism. Please continue to watch and to spread the word, for this is Nigeria to the world.

The film Glamour Girls, a replica of the 1994 Nollywood hit, had its Netflix debut on June 24.

Nse Ikpe-Etim, Joselyn Dumas, Toke Makinwa, and Sharon Ooja are among the actors who appear in it. However, since the film’s release on Netflix a few days ago, it has received a ton of unfavorable reviews from moviegoers.
