A Nigerian who recently cycled from London to Lagos said, “I want to bike from Lagos to Israel, my objective is Everest”

Kunle Adeyanju, a Nigerian adventurer and London-to-Lagos rider, is getting ready to set out on another long voyage on his power cycle.

This time, his next journey will involve traveling by motorcycle from Lagos to Israel and then onward to Tibet.

Adeyanju said his destination is Mt. Everest and added that he hopes to complete the expedition at the latest by 2024.

In an exclusive interview with Arise TV last week Tuesday where he described his final experience, the motorcyclist said he was compelled to begin on these journies when his close friend died of polio.

Adeyanju stated that he would like to visit Tibet and Everest, the world’s highest peak and plane, respectively, on his next journey.

IN HIS WORDS: “I’M GOING TO BUY ANOTHER BIKE AND DO ANOTHER ADVENTURE. MY NEXT ADVENTURE IS GOING TO BE RIDING FROM LAGOS TO ISRAEL, JUST PASSING THROUGH ISRAEL AND THEN TO TIBET.

“THEN, I ACTUALLY WANT TO RIDE ON TIBETAN PLANE BECAUSE THAT IS THE HIGHEST PLATEAU YOU HAVE IN THE WORLD. THEY SAY GOD LIVES IN TIBET BECAUSE OF THE HIGHEST PURITY. I WANT TO EXPERIENCE THAT PURITY.

“MY DESTINATION IS EVEREST. I’M GOING TO DROP MY BIKE AT EVEREST BASE CAMP AND TRY TO CLIMB EVEREST. THAT’S WHAT I’M DOING TO DO WITH MYSELF IN THE NEXT TWO YEARS,” SAID THE ADVENTURER.

Tibet is on the Tibetan plateau, which is part of the northern Himalayas and has an average point elevation of 4,830 meters. India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Myanmar are all to the north of it. “Roof of the World” is the moniker for it.
