He wants to complete the 12,000-kilometer expedition in 25 days. Kunle began his voyage yesterday, tweeting that he is now in Borgers, France, after leaving London and crossing the English Channel.
His journey will take him to several countries. From London, he’ll go through France, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, St Louis, Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Lagos.
Why is Kunle boarding a plane from London to Lagos? Kunle explained why he set out on the long trek in a tweet,
saying he hoped to raise N20 million for charity.
He stated that he will donate 100% of the monies raised to the PolioPlus project, which focuses on primary health, water, and sanitation.
The money generated would go to the Primary Health, Water and Sanitation, and PolioPlus projects, according to the
man. Specifically, 20% of the funds received will be used to help the campaign to keep Africa polio-free.”
