Early Life

Career

Koffee’s singing ability became well-known after she posted a video of herself doing it on Instagram. She wrote and released her debut song, Legend, in 2017. Her voice and an acoustic guitar were the only instruments used to make the song. Usain Bolt, a Jamaican sprinting legend, was honored in the movie Legend. Usain Bolt reposted the song on his Instagram page, which raised its popularity and made the singer more well-known worldwide.

Koffee’s debut track, Burning, which she released the same year, was motivated by her resolve to keep moving forward despite her initial sadness at not being accepted into a post-secondary sixth form after graduating from high school. She was 19 years old when she received the honor, making her the youngest recipient in the category as well as the only female. She released two popular songs in 2020, Lockdown and Pressure. Don’t Walk Away, a song by John Legend, included her.

On March 25, 2022, she released her eagerly anticipated debut album, Gifted. Positive reviews of the album have been published so far. The singles from Gifted discuss tenacity and overcoming obstacles. The 10-track album combines pop, R&B, dancehall reggae, and fusion reggae.
