Actress Tonto Dikeh of Nollywood has said that she has never failed in a leadership position.
Tonto Dikeh was selected by the African Democratic Congress to run for deputy governor in Rivers State (ADC).
The ADC gubernatorial candidate, Tonye Ibraye, had previously confirmed the actor as his running mate in a statement posted on Instagram on Friday, according to XCLUSIVEPOP.
When Miss Dikeh appeared on Sunday’s episode of Channels Television Politics Today, she stated, “I have never failed in leadership.”
The actress continued by saying that she thinks “the time is now for the youths to take over leadership.”
She claimed that in terms of doing social work with young people, she had earned her keep.
When asked if she thought the ADC in Rivers State had a chance, she responded, “There’s always a chance for everything.”
“Rivers is not a PDP State,” the actress-turned-politician asserted. The PDP does not govern the state; rather, the people do. The people of Rivers State need to hear the proper message.
